Information
Hide Price app for those users who are not logged in on the website. Store owners can choose to either show a "Login to View Price" button, or a "Get Price on WhatsApp" button so customers can enquire about the price directly on WhatsApp, without needing to create an account.
Product price is the most important part of an eCommerce website. A store owner has to decide if the price of the products will be visible or not for customers. Store owners can hide prices to encourage upgrading to a customer group, increase customer signups, or drive direct enquiries, for all products, specific products, or specific collections.
Using this app, the store owner can easily manage prices on the product page and the collection page, restrict visibility to specific customer tags or markets/countries, and match the button design to their theme.
Key Features:

Settings
These are the app settings where you can effortlessly configure or customize the design for Hide Price, Apply To products/collections, and Element Selectors for a custom theme. Settings are organized under two tabs: General Settings and Advanced Settings.
Enable App
Use the Setup Guide on the app dashboard to enable the Hide Price app on your storefront.
To make CI Hide Price work properly on your storefront, app embed must be enabled. Click the Activate App Embed button and click Save in the theme editor to enable it.
Once you've done this, come back to the Setup Guide in the admin and click I have done it. When both steps show as completed, the app is ready to use.
- The Setup Guide tracks your progress with a step counter (e.g., "2 out of 2 steps completed") and a progress bar.
- Activate CI Hide Price on Your Store: Click the Activated button to enable the app embed from your theme editor.
- Start your settings: Guides you to add your settings after activation.
- Click Need help? if you face any issue enabling the app embed.
General Settings
The General Settings tab is where you choose how customers see hidden prices, and design the button to match your theme. There are two button modes to choose from.
Login to See Price Button
Display a "Login to See Price" button in place of the price. Customers must log in to view the price and add the product to the cart.
- Button Text: Change the text shown on the button, e.g. "Login to View Price".
- Login Button Redirect: Choose whether the button redirects customers to the Login Page or a Custom Redirect URL.
- Custom Redirect URL: When Custom Redirect URL is selected, enter the URL customers should be redirected to, such as a registration page or contact form.
Get Price on WhatsApp
Instead of asking customers to log in, you can let them enquire about a product's price directly on WhatsApp with a pre-filled message.
- WhatsApp Button Text: Change the text shown on the button, e.g. "Get Price on WhatsApp".
- WhatsApp Phone Number: Enter the store's WhatsApp number, including the country code, e.g. +91 9874598745.
- WhatsApp Message: Set the pre-filled message sent to your WhatsApp. Use the {product_url} variable to automatically include the product link in the message, e.g. "Hi, I would like to know the price of this product {product_url}".
Appearance
Design the button to match your theme with text or background color and many more options.
- Text Color and Background Color: Set the button's text and background colors to match your theme.
- Border Color and Border Width: Add a border around the button and set its color and thickness.
- Font Weight and Font Size: Adjust how bold and how large the button text appears.
- Padding (Top/Right/Bottom/Left): Set inner spacing around the button text.
- Margin (Top/Right/Bottom/Left): Set outer spacing around the button.
- Border Radius: Round the corners of the button.
- Custom Class: If you have any other button class from your theme, add it here for additional styling.
Apply To
Select where in your store you want to hide the price.
- All Products: Hide the price on all products in your store.
- Specific Product/Collection: Hide the price only for the products or collections you select.
Element Selectors
If you're using a custom theme that doesn't meet Shopify's criteria and the Hide Price or Add to Cart button doesn't appear correctly, you can add the custom classes below as per the examples.
Examples:
- Product Grid Container Class: For collection list add Grid class .grid li If you your collection list is as list layout then you can add according it.
- Product Card Class: For collection list or other list such as Related product slider and You may also like then add Card class .product-card
- Product Price Item Class: For price and price group such as regular price, sale price or others then add Product Price class according it .price__pricing-group
- Add To Cart Form Class: For collection list, product page or any other list you have then add form class .product-form
- Quick Add Button Class: If you have quick button or choose options like as dawn theme on collection page then add class .quick-add
- Bulk Add Button Class: Same as dawn theme on collection page then add quantity button class .quick-add-bulk
Advanced Settings
The Advanced Settings tab lets you restrict who sees prices by customer tag, and which countries/markets the price hiding applies to.
Show prices only to customers with specific tags
Only logged-in customers with an approved tag will be shown the product price. This is useful for approved customers, wholesale, or B2B accounts.
- Enable customer tags: Turn on this option to restrict visible prices to specific customer tags.
- Enter comma-separated customer tags, such as tag1, tag2, approved, B2B, etc.
- If enabled, only logged-in customers with the specified tag will be able to see prices; all other customers will see the hidden price button.
Apply to Markets
Choose whether price hiding applies to your entire store or only to specific countries/markets.
- All Countries: Hide prices for customers browsing from any country.
- Specific Countries: Hide prices only for the countries/markets you select, keeping prices visible everywhere else.
Applied on Frontend
Once configured, the Hide Price app works automatically across your storefront wherever a product price is shown.
Collection Page
The price is replaced with the "Login to View Price" (or "Get Price on WhatsApp") button on collection and product listing pages.
Product Page
The price and quantity selector on the product page are replaced with the "Login to View Price" (or "Get Price on WhatsApp") button, including on related and "You may also like" product cards.
